LICENSING

In the following terms & conditions, “the Photographer” shall mean CHARLIE WRIGHT. “The Clients” shall be those persons defined on quotations and/or invoices as the client.
These terms & conditions cannot be varied in any way by the clients unless such conditions are expressly agreed by the photographer in writing.
1. COPYRIGHT AND OWNERSHIP
i. In accordance with the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988, the copyright of all images created during any assignment remains the property of the Photographer at all times.
ii. Digital files remain the property of the Photographer. Original unedited (RAW) files will not be shared unless expressly agreed in writing. The Client agrees not to edit, filter, or alter any imagery provided without prior permission.
iii. The Photographer will store digital files safely for the Client and make them available for future reproduction/licensing for a relevant fee. The Photographer is not liable for files lost or destroyed due to circumstances beyond their control.
iv. The Photographer reserves the right to use any images for marketing, promotional, competition, and editorial purposes (e.g., website, social media, brochures) unless otherwise agreed.
2. YOUR USAGE RIGHTS
i.The Client agrees to pay the fees per image or package as defined in the provided quotation or invoice.
ii. The Client agrees to use the licensed images only for the specific instances and platforms agreed upon in the signed contract.
iii. This license is granted exclusively to the Client. The Client is strictly prohibited from sub-licensing, selling, or transferring these images to any third party - including venues, promoters, sponsors, or gear brands - without the express written consent of the Photographer.
iv. Upon receipt of full payment, the Photographer grants permission to use the licensed images for a period of one (1) year from the date of delivery, unless a different duration is specified in the signed agreement.
v. Upon expiry of the license, the client may choose to renew the license for an additional fee or discontinue use.
vi. Use of any image following the license expiry date will result in a new invoice for the original price of the photograph for each instance of use.
vii. The Photographer must be credited in all instances of use (e.g., Photo by @photos.bycharlie / Charlie Wright) unless an "exclusive" or "no-attribution" agreement has been reached and paid for.
